Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician to join our electrical team. Our company is located in Island, Kentucky but our work is located in Sebree, Kentucky at an industrial plant, and would require you to drive to the work site daily. This role involves leading electrical projects at an industrial plant. As a Journeyman or Master Electrician, you will oversee installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, ensuring all work complies with safety standards and local electrical codes while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Paid Vacations, Paid Holidays, Life Insurance and and Future Retirement Plan Duties Lead and execute electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance on industrial and commercial electrical systems with accuracy and care Interpret and work from electrical blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and schematics to ensure accurate implementation of designs Conduct thorough diagnostics using tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to troubleshoot complex electrical issues Perform routine inspections to ensure all electrical systems are operating safely and efficiently, adhering to NFPA 70 compliance guidelines Collaborate with construction teams during renovation or new build projects, including reading blueprints and electrical schematics Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete electrical wiring tasks effectively on construction sites or industrial facilities Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to industrial electrical systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage controls, and other automation components Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including incident reports, inspection logs, and compliance records Requirements Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license with proven experience in industrial and commercial settings Extensive knowledge of local electrical codes, NFPA 70 standards, NEC regulations, and safety procedures Demonstrated experience working with industrial electrical systems, PLCs, schematics reading, and troubleshooting complex electrical issues Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, multimeters, and power tools Strong understanding of electrical blueprint reading and schematic interpretation Construction site experience including renovation projects; familiarity with framing carpentry or handyman skills is a plus Ability to operate fork trucks, various lifts and other equipment Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining safety standards Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting electrical systems efficiently Must provide basic tools for daily work Work boots, FR shirts and company shirts provided along with saftey items

Pay:

$40.00 - $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
