Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure all electrical work complies with national and local electrical codes, including NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), and adheres to the highest safety standards. Responsibilities Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and safety procedures. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately execute projects. Perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to identify issues quickly and efficiently. Handle high-voltage electrical wiring safely during installation or repair processes on industrial equipment or power distribution systems. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete electrical work with precision and safety. Conduct routine maintenance on existing electrical systems, including low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and industrial electrical components. Ensure all work aligns with local electrical codes (such as NEC), NFPA 70 standards, and company safety protocols while maintaining detailed documentation of inspections and repairs. Requirements Valid electrician license with proven experience as a licensed electrician in industrial or commercial settings. Extensive experience working with industrial electrical systems, including high-voltage wiring and low-voltage controls. Strong understanding of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and local electrical codes. Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical drawings. Skilled in troubleshooting complex electrical systems using diagnostic tools like voltmeters, ohmmeters, and schematics. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation controls is highly desirable. Ability to work safely on construction sites or renovation projects while following strict electrical safety procedures. Familiarity with construction site practices such as framing carpentry or handyman skills is a plus for versatile project support. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to diagnosing issues quickly. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and contractors.
