Job Overview We are seeking a qualified Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic electrical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial and industrial settings. Responsibilities Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in industrial and commercial environments using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate wiring and system setup. Conduct diagnostics on electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters to identify faults or inefficiencies. Install and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low-voltage control systems integral to industrial automation processes. Ensure all work complies with the NEC (National Electrical Code), NFPA 70 standards, and OSHA safety procedures. Collaborate with project managers, construction teams, and clients during installation or renovation projects to meet project specifications. Troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently through systematic diagnostics and repair techniques. Read electrical blueprints and schematics accurately to guide installation or repair activities. Qualifications Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician with a strong background in industrial and commercial electrical systems. Extensive knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and local electrical codes. Demonstrated ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams effectively. Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low-voltage control wiring. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, power tools, and construction site safety procedures. Ability to interpret technical schematics related to industrial electrical systems. Construction site experience including renovation projects is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent attention to detail. Valid electrician's license or certification as a Journeyman Electrician is required.
