Key Position Details:
Position will be based out of Cottage Grove but will travel to Allina Health Clinics within Twin Cities Area for project based work 1.0 FTE (80 hours per two-week pay period) 10-hour day/evening/night shifts Occasional weekends
Job Description:
Maintain, repair and replace equipment and components associates with the facilities electrical system. Troubleshoot and repair electrical malfunctions. Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems. Principle Responsibilities Diagnosis, Repairs and Maintains. Performs daily operation, inspect, maintain, repair or assist in the repair of the buildings Energy Management System, Building Automated System, Fire Alarm System, and Lighting Systems. Service calls (repairs and maintenance) are completed in a timely manner. Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems. Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units. Maintains safe and secure electrical environment. May install electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment for alarm and other systems. May install safety and distribution components. Keeps electrical supplies ready by checking stock and anticipating needs. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description 2 to 5 years of experience as an Electrician (in a Hospital environment preferred) Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or GED Vocational or Technical Training in Electrical or Electronics 2 to 5 years of experience in motors and motor controls, construction, fire, and security, HVAC systems Licenses/Certifications Electrician
  • MN Department of Labor & Industry required MN Class A Journeyman upon hire Electrician
  • MN Department of Labor & Industry preferred MN Class A Master Valid Driver's License required upon hire
  • MN and WI residents must obtain a valid driver's license in their state of residence within 60 days of employment if working in a clinic setting
Physical Demands Medium Work:
Lifting weight up to 50 lbs. occasionally, up to 25 lbs. frequently
Pay Range Pay Range:
$37.04 to $50.77 per hour The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
