Job Description

Job Summary We will also pay 150.00 per day for subsistence to Non-IBEW Journeymen. We welcome IBEW Journeymen who have a Mn License. Please note that if you have a referral from the IBEW that your rate will be at the Local 294 Hibbing Industrial Scale with 125.00 per day subsistence. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrician with a valid Minnesota Journeymen License to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of electrical systems across an industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and local electrical codes, including NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code). Responsibilities Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics to accurately execute projects. Conduct electrical diagnostics to identify faults within complex electrical circuits, including high-voltage wiring systems. Ensure all work complies with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and local electrical codes for safety and quality assurance. Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely while adhering to electrical safety procedures. Utilize testing instruments such as ohmmeters and multimeters to diagnose issues within electrical systems. Collaborate with project teams on the construction site Requirements Valid Minnesota Journeymen License is mandatory for this role. Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems. Knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and local electrical codes. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, and high-voltage wiring. Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and electrical schematics for accurate installation and repair work. Familiarity with electrical safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and power equipment efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
