POSITION SUMMARY
The Electrician performs electrical work for new construction and renovation projects and carries out corrective and preventive maintenance on facility electrical systems and equipment.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent, required At least one (1) year experience in an industrial maintenance environment or as a construction electrician, required Ability to design and install simple control systems, preferred Experience in installing, maintaining and troubleshooting 480V, 3 phase electrical distribution systems, preferred
QUALIFICATIONS
Valid state driver's license Must have good driving record Must be able to communicate effectively Ability to work independently
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, and twist for extended periods (up to 8 hours) Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and overhead reaching Constant communication in person and by phone
