We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Electrical Installer to join our team of skilled professionals and provide exceptional service to our clients! Your main role as Lead Electrical Installer will be to oversee and perform the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. What You'll Do :
Lead and coordinate the work of electrical helpers/installers on site Interpret and execute electrical plans, blueprints, and specifications Assist in planning material and labor needs for assigned tasks or phases of work Ensure installations meet local, state, and national electrical codes Provide technical guidance and support to team members Monitor progress and provide regular updates to Management Ensure all safety protocols are followed and participate in safety meetings Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues and recommend corrective actions Assist in training and mentoring junior staff and apprentices Perform quality control checks and ensure the timely completion of work
Who We're Looking For :
The ideal candidate is someone who ... Has a high school diploma or GED; technical school or formal apprenticeship is preferred Has 3+ years of experience in commercial or residential electrical work (5+ years preferred) Demonstrates the ability to lead a team or crew Has a strong knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) and safety regulations Is proficient with electrical tools, testing equipment, and materials Shows excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills Is reliable, punctual, and committed to high-quality workmanship Is able to take direction from Management and work well in a team environment Is able to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks Demonstrates a willingness to work in various weather conditions and job site environments; must be able to work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and occasionally work off of platforms/scaffolding Is able to use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull: objects, materials, controls, and tools; and is able to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, squatting, sitting, and lifting
