$28.50
Schedule:
Wednesday - Tuesday, 7 days on 7 days off
Shifts:
6 AM-6 PM or 6 PM-6 AM, rotating between day and night shifts
Location Information:
Located in northwest North Dakota, our Tioga Terminal handles the loading of crude oil and natural gas into rail tanker cars. Process Maintenance Experience is highly preferred for this position Job Summary The primary function of the Utility Operator is to assist the team safely and effectively perform all required duties/tasks by maintaining all mechanical operations at the facility. This job description is general and illustrative of the type of duties required for this position. This description is not all inclusive and is not meant to be a detailed description of each duty performed by the incumbent of the position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform site equipment, tanks, fire suppression, security, and other inspections as required
Access the top and underside of equipment for inspection and maintenance
Perform maintenance on all mobile equipment as needed (payloader, skid steer, mowers, weed eaters, blowers, etc.)
Minor electrical troubleshooting, transmitter, and PLC knowledge are preferred but not required
Experience analyzing and troubleshooting valves, pumps, VCU, and MOV's
Will be responsible for the operations as it relates to tank management from pipelines to loading at the rail terminal and all facility operations
Complete all applicable documentation and record-keeping
Perform all work in compliance with Company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Building and ground maintenance include lighting, mowing, snow removal, and assisting with janitorial needs
Must maintain regular, dependable attendance and a high level of performance
Follow written and verbal directions to complete assigned tasks on schedule
Must be able to bend, stoop, twist, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds independently.
Must possess clear verbal communication and hearing abilities to interact effectively with team members, vendors, and customers at all times.
Participate in safety briefings, job briefings, and any other pass-on information from team members, management, or customers
Operate in a manner where safety and environment are of the highest importance
Ability to work outside and withstand extreme weather conditions
Must be able to collaborate with a team, take direction, and follow work rules, as well as take on additional job responsibilities as needed or assigned
Complete NDIC Testing/Sampling
Complete Lockout Tagout classes and field tests
Manage crude tank volumes Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and be able to pass and/or obtain all reporting, testing, and certifications as required for this position and location.
