Career Growth and Development Industrial Electrician's Key Responsibilities:

• Apply electrical theory to determine root cause of failures and their corrective actions.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot motors (up to 2400VAC and 500VDC) as well as a variety of other electrical equipment
• Interpret electrical schematics and PLC programs.
• Perform conduit installation and wire sizing.
• Understand the functions of electrical and electro-mechanical items such as sensors, relays, limit switches, flow switches, valves, etc.

Industrial Electrician's Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Completion of journeyman certification in an industrial environment or 5 years of experience in industrial electricity.
• Electrical license preferred.
• Electrical knowledge, including 24 volts.
• Experience with PLC programs.
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, drawings, sketches, and plans.
• Basic PC skills.
• Ability to perform the physical duties of the role, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces and at heights.
• Experience operating mobile equipment such as forklift, scissor and articulating lifts.
• Observe and follow all safety regulations and procedures.
