Full Job Description Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of electrical installation, maintenance, and repair tasks, including troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Interpret and follow electrical blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents
- Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate electrical work and minimize disruptions
- Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentice electricians and other team members
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of all electrical work performed
Qualifications:
- Completion of a formal electrical apprenticeship program and possession of a Journeyman Electrician license or certification
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician in an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Proficient in the use of electrical tools, testing equipment, and safety gear
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contractors
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with industry best practices
