Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across diverse settings, including industrial and commercial environments. Your expertise will ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and local electrical codes, contributing to safe, efficient, and reliable electrical operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex electrical systems, utilize advanced diagnostic tools, and contribute to high-quality construction and renovation projects. Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in industrial and commercial facilities using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as ohmmeters. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to accurately execute wiring and installation tasks. Perform high-voltage electrical wiring and low-voltage system installations in accordance with NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association standards) and NEC (National Electrical Code). Conduct electrical diagnostics to identify issues within complex industrial electrical systems and implement effective solutions promptly. Ensure all work adheres to electrical safety procedures, local electrical codes, and industry best practices to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with construction teams during renovation or new build projects, including framing carpentry and schematic reading for seamless integration of electrical components. Troubleshoot electrical systems on construction sites or during maintenance activities using advanced troubleshooting techniques including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation systems. Qualifications Proven experience as an electrician with a focus on industrial and commercial electrical systems. Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 compliance standards, NEC regulations, and local electrical codes. Hands-on experience with electrical diagnostics, schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and troubleshooting complex electrical issues. Proficiency in working with high-voltage wiring, low-voltage systems, power tools, hand tools, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters. Experience with industrial electrical systems including automation controls like programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Construction site experience with renovation projects or new installations is highly desirable. Ability to read technical drawings accurately and perform precise electrical wiring according to schematics.
