Shift Availability:

Varied. : Perform entry-level electrical tasks including conduit bending, wiring, and blueprint reading. Capable of bending conduit using common multipliers for offsets. Perform entrylevel conduit bends such as 90degree and 30degree bends. Know where to locate deduction charts on the bender being used. Understand basics of wiring schematics. Understand basics of blueprint reading. Identify necessary tools required for terminations. Identify different power tools such as band saws, impact drill, hammer drill, etc. Identify different hand tools such as socket sets, lineman pliers, needle nose pliers, etc. Identify different electrical conduit body fittings such as LBs, TBs, LLs, LRs, etc.

Academic Requirements:

High school diploma or GED.

Electrician Certification course

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Conduit bending (90degree and 30degree bends). Understanding multipliers for offsets. Ability to locate deduction charts on bender. Wiring schematics basics. Blueprint reading basics. Tool identification (power tools and hand tools). Electrical conduit body fittings identification.
