In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various environments, including industrial and commercial settings. Your expertise will ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and local electrical codes, contributing to the safe and efficient operation of our facilities. Responsibilities Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in industrial and commercial environments using hand tools and power tools. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute wiring and system layouts. Perform electrical diagnostics to identify issues within complex industrial electrical systems and high-voltage wiring setups. Ensure all work complies with NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association standards), NEC (National Electrical Code), and local electrical codes. Conduct routine maintenance and upgrades on existing electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage wiring. Follow strict electrical safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. Utilize testing equipment such as ohmmeters to measure resistance and verify circuit integrity during troubleshooting processes. Requirements Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems. Hands-on experience with high-voltage electrical wiring, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and electrical blueprint reading. Knowledge of NFPA 70 compliance standards, NEC regulations, and local electrical codes is essential. Ability to read electrical schematics accurately and interpret technical drawings for installation or repair projects. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, multimeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting electrical systems. Construction site experience with renovation projects or new installations is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently.
