Job Summary Small shop founded on Customer Service and looking for Tech's that understand troubleshooting and focus on quality of work. I am looking for a skilled journeyman Electrician with Residential and Commercial Skills. Must have a valid Drivers License and pass a background check. Must be able to work independently and comfortable working by themselves on a day to day basis. Occasionally there will be jobs that you will be working with other technicians. You will be working in Customers Homes and also in Commercial Settings working in Service, Remodel and New Construction. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring and equipment in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and project specifications. Your expertise in blueprint reading and electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters and ammeters will be essential to ensure safety and compliance on construction sites. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring systems in Residential and Commercial settings. Read blueprints and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems. Work Directly with Contractors, Builders and Homeowners Ensure all work complies with NEC standards and local regulations. Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to ensure timely project completion. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or malfunctions. Troubleshoot high voltage and low voltage systems effectively. Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times. Qualifications Good people skills and ability to interact with Customers Proven experience as a Wireman or similar role in commercial or industrial settings. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications. Familiarity with NEC regulations and safety standards. Ability to operate electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters and ammeters. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to operate Scissor Lift and Boom Lift Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on construction sites.
