Position summary: The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for electrical installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance within Granite Valley Forest Products. Pulling cable, running pathway, running conduit, terminations of cables, testing of cables, and installation of equipment and hardware in a manufacturing setting.

Maintain housekeeping and safety compliance, inspection ready at all times Understanding and applying blueprints and technical diagrams Using various devices including various meters and hand and power tools Install, maintain, inspect, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes Troubleshoot electrical problems and make repairs accordingly Ability to perform electrical tests, read results, and diagnose and repair electrical problems Work with closely with other Maintenance staff Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records. Other assignments as made by management

QUALIFICATIONS
