Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an experienced Electrical Installation & Service Technician for an immediate start in Weston, WI. This is a direct-hire, full-time opportunity with a reputable electrical contractor.

The primary focus of this position is residential electrical installation, with some residential service and troubleshooting work as needed.

PAY:

$38.00-$44.00/hour

Monday-Friday, daytime hours, with an on-call rotation

Job Description

The Electrical Installation & Service Technician will primarily perform residential electrical installations for new construction and remodeling projects, with some service and troubleshooting responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have strong residential electrical experience, be comfortable working independently, and take pride in quality workmanship and customer service.

Responsibilities

Perform residential electrical installations for new construction and remodeling projects

Install wiring, panels, breakers, outlets, switches, lighting, fixtures, and other electrical components

Perform rough-in and finish electrical work

Read and interpret electrical plans, blueprints, and diagrams

Perform residential electrical service, troubleshooting, and repairs as needed

Diagnose electrical issues and determine appropriate solutions

Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, managers, and installation teams

Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with applicable electrical codes

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area

Keep company vehicle clean, stocked, and organized

Complete job documentation and paperwork accurately and on time

Participate in the scheduled on-call rotation

Attend daily job briefings at the Weston, WI shop before dispatching to project sites

Participate in ongoing training and certification opportunities

Qualifications

Valid Wisconsin Journeyman Electrician License required

5+ years of residential electrical experience

Strong residential installation experience

Residential service and troubleshooting experience preferred

Knowledge of electrical codes and safe work practices

Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and blueprints

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Professional communication and customer-service skills

Self-motivated and dependable

Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

Ability to operate a company vehicle

Additional Requirements

Must be eligible to work in the United States

Must have reliable transportation to the job site

Pre-employment drug screen and background check required
