Job Description

Industrial Maintenance Technician - Electrical & Mechanical We are hiring Industrial Maintenance Technicians with either strong electrical or mechanical experience to support a heavy industrial manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on maintenance position working with large production equipment, automated machinery, and material-handling systems. Candidates can come from either an electrical maintenance or mechanical maintenance background. You do not need to be an expert in both areas. Pay Starting at $30.60/hour Schedule 12-hour rotating shifts - 3-2-2-3 schedule Candidates must be comfortable working both days and nights as the schedule rotates. Electrical Maintenance Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical equipment and production machinery Work with 480V three-phase electrical systems Troubleshoot electric motors, motor controls, contactors, relays, sensors, and control panels Diagnose issues involving VFDs and AC/DC drives Navigate and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLC systems Perform preventative and corrective electrical maintenance Use electrical testing equipment to diagnose equipment failures Support production by responding to electrical breakdowns and minimizing downtime Mechanical Maintenance Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial production machinery Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections Work on conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, chains, sprockets, rollers, and drive systems Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems Perform equipment alignments, lubrication, component replacement, and rebuilds Assist with welding, fabrication, and mechanical repairs as needed Diagnose mechanical failures and return equipment to production safely Respond to breakdowns and help reduce production downtime Equipment You May Work On Technicians will support heavy industrial equipment used throughout the aluminum manufacturing process, including: Coil coating lines Slitting equipment Embossing machinery Wrapping and packaging equipment Conveyor systems Motors and drive systems Hydraulic and pneumatic equipment Material-handling and production machinery Qualifications Industrial maintenance, electrical, mechanical, or electromechanical experience preferred Manufacturing, steel, aluminum, metals, chemical, automotive, or other heavy industrial experience is a plus Technical school, trade school, or industrial maintenance training will also be considered Ability to troubleshoot equipment and identify the root cause of mechanical or electrical failures Comfortable working around large industrial machinery Strong safety mindset and willingness to work as part of a maintenance team Entry-level candidates with strong technical schooling and hands-on electrical or mechanical training are encouraged to apply.
Pay:
From $30.60 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 65.0 per week
