About CCG Commercial Construction Group is a commercial general contractor headquartered in North Little Rock, Arkansas, with a multi-state portfolio spanning ground-up commercial construction, complex renovations, and a specialization in behavioral health facility construction. We're growing our preconstruction team and looking for an experienced Commercial Construction Estimator to help us win and scope the next wave of projects. About the Role CCG is hiring a General Estimator to lead cost estimating and bid development across our commercial project portfolio, from ground-up builds to complex renovations. This role works closely with project managers, ownership, and subcontractors throughout preconstruction to turn plans and specifications into accurate, competitive bids. Commercial construction experience is required; behavioral health or healthcare project experience is a plus but not required.

Compensation:

$100,000+ annually, commensurate with experience Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates from construction drawings and specifications for ground-up and renovation projects Review and interpret plans, specs, and contract documents to identify scope, risk, and cost drivers Solicit, review, and analyze subcontractor and supplier pricing; develop complete scopes of work across all trades Assemble competitive, accurate bid packages and proposals within client deadlines Track and manage multiple concurrent bids and preconstruction schedules Collaborate with project managers and ownership during preconstruction to align estimates with project budgets and constructability Maintain organized estimating records, historical cost data, and bid documentation Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers across CCG's markets Travel periodically to project sites and pre-bid meetings across CCG's multi-state service area Qualifications Required At least 2 to 3 years of estimating experience with a commercial general contractor (required) Proven commercial construction project experience is required; residential-only backgrounds will not be considered Ability to read and interpret commercial construction drawings, specifications, and contracts Proficiency with estimating and takeoff software (such as Xactimate, On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, or similar) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills with close attention to detail Clear written and verbal communication skills Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites and client meetings as needed Preferred Experience estimating ground-up commercial construction Experience with healthcare or behavioral health facility projects Familiarity with the Arkansas commercial construction market and regional subcontractor base Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or equivalent field experience
