Job Description
What You'll Do Estimate plumbing projects by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other project documents Visit local job sites to assess project scope and confirm accurate estimates Work directly with clients, contractors, and suppliers to gather pricing information Prepare detailed cost estimates covering labor, materials, equipment, and overhead Support contract and proposal negotiations with clients and subcontractors What We're Looking For A Plumbing Estimator to attend job walks, perform quantity take-offs, prepare material submittals for specific projects, etc. Estimating experience in plumbing or a closely related trade — we'll also consider experienced service or journeyman plumbers ready to move into an estimating role Solid knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and installation methods Comfortable reading blueprints, specs, and technical drawings Strong analytical/math skills for accurate cost estimation Clear communicator who can negotiate confidently with clients and suppliers Someone capable of handling all preconstruction activities and produce comprehensive bid proposals for residential and commercial plumbing projects. Experience with ProCore or similar platforms preferred.
