Job Description

Steel Estimator Griffin Welding CT Griffin Welding, a structural steel fabricator serving highway, bridge, and traffic infrastructure projects for states across the US, is looking for a Steel Estimator to join our team. In-house is preferred, but we're open to remote for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate cost estimates and takeoffs for structural steel fabrication projects. Review drawings and specifications to determine material, labor, and project scope. Build and maintain estimates in Excel, and use Tekla for takeoffs and detailing review where applicable. Work with project managers and shop leadership to support bidding and project planning.

Requirements:

Experience in Tekla and Excel are a must. Similar software with understanding can be manageable. Experience in Steel fabrication is a must.

What we offer:

$1,300-$1,500/week, with in-house or remote flexibility depending on experience.
