Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

The estimator position uses experience and learned skills to create various estimates within our internal systems. By using provided software, an estimator will work through creating a take-off using predetermined settings, prices and materials.

Position Responsibilities:

Analyze project specifications and blueprints to create take-off in our internal system Problem-solve with the ability to work through situations to the end Work with the Estimating & Sales teams to complete projects in a timely manner Perform general administrative tasks as needed Other duties as assigned by manager

Position Requirements:

2-3 years of experience in estimating / take-off experience in the construction industry preferred Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings Detail oriented Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Critical thinking Effective communication skills Knowledge of construction materials, methods and practices Time management skills Strong work ethic Organized High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in applicable field desired
