8am-3:30pm. No weekends Career Advancement Opportunities Opportunity for a company car Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Home Improvement Salesperson/ Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will help homeowner's project dreams become reality. By gathering information, preparing accurate estimates, then helping the homeowner to finalize their project selections, you will build the relationship that will build confidence throughout the process. The project would then be turned over to the production department. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and has a proven track record as a Salesperson. Must be great at customer follow ups. Be willing to look for other opportunities for project sales. We are willing to train the right candidate. Responsibilities Call potential customers and do a discovery onsite meeting with homeowner. Wear company supplied apparel. Fully understand the project scope and requirements by studying documentation, meeting with clients, and visiting relevant locations Collect necessary documentation such as plans, drawings, and project specifications Determine the key variables for cost and conduct research to determine expected labor and materials costs Gather material and necessary bid for building a quote for the homeowner. Create then submit estimates to company owner for review. Make necessary adjustments in timely manner for the customer presentations. Budget and forecast using appropriate software Work Home Shows and other company sales events on weekends to help build your book of business (when needed), to bring in more customers. Walk around active or sold project neighborhoods to generate more leads. Help homeowners with project allowance selection/ approval meetings with project assistant. Move project to be processed then turned over to the production department. Keep in the loop on your projects and continue to be there for the homeowner. Visit project sites to help ensure the project is following the customers' needs and expectations. Be at project starts and project completion final walk through. Qualifications Good driving record Positive attitude Previous experience in home remodeling Sales. Strong mathematical and analytical skills Skilled in relevant software or willing to learn Excellent research, writing, and negotiation skills
