Job Description
Estimator Mid-Land Enterprises - Joplin, MO Mid-Land Enterprises is seeking a skilled Structural Steel and Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Construction Management or equivalent industry experience and a strong understanding of steel building construction, estimating, and customer relationships. Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate project estimates and bid proposals for Structurural Steel, PEMB and related construction projects Perform field measurements, site evaluations, and job specifications Generate and track leads, bids, and sales opportunities while maintaining strong customer relationships Coordinate between Sales and Operations to ensure successful project execution Utilize Multiple job boards, websites, Procore, Bluebeam, and other estimating tools to develop scopes, takeoffs, and proposals Follow up on proposals and assist in converting bids into awarded work Help standardize and maintain internal estimating and quoting procedures Serve as a solutions-oriented resource for customers and internal teams Qualifications Degree in Construction Management or equivalent construction estimating experience Experience estimating Steel Structures or PEMB projects preferred Expert in construction drawings, specifications, and takeoffs Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines What We're Looking For At Mid-Land Enterprises, Safety is our #1 Core Value , and quality drives everything we do.
