A Kansas City steel fabricator and erector focused on structural and miscellaneous steel packages wants an Estimator / Project Manager who can price the work and then see it through. The role suits an early- to mid-career professional looking to develop in both estimating and project management. What you'll be responsible for: Take awarded jobs through fabrication and erection, with ownership of change orders, budget, and schedule Complete takeoffs and estimates for miscellaneous and structural steel packages Prepare bids and proposals and request quotes for erection, coatings, and detailing Track project costs and manage the RFI and submittal process Work closely with field crews, the shop, detailers, and general contractors What helps you succeed: 2-8 years working in steel estimating, project management, or related construction Skill reading structural and architectural drawings Familiarity with estimating software is a plus Understanding of miscellaneous and structural metals scopes An engineering or construction management degree, or equivalent experience, is preferred

Compensation:

$75,000 - $105,000, plus a yearly bonus opportunity and a sign-on bonus for top candidates joining from competitors.
