The company is fully insured, bondable, and trusted by general contractors. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Estimator role based in Montvale, NJ. The Project Estimator will review plans, specifications, and bid documents to prepare accurate estimates for roofing and siding projects. Responsibilities include performing quantity takeoffs, analyzing labor, material, and equipment costs, and developing detailed proposals and budgets. The role involves coordinating with project managers, field teams, and external partners to clarify scope, address questions, and support bid strategies. The Project Estimator will maintain cost databases, track market pricing, and assist in value engineering to ensure competitive and profitable project pricing. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Construction Estimating and Project Estimation skills. Candidates should possess solid Cost Management and Budgeting skills. Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external partners. Experience with commercial roofing, siding, or exterior envelope construction is beneficial. Proficiency with estimating software, spreadsheets, and construction plan reading is preferred. Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills are important. Relevant education or training in construction management, engineering, or a related field is advantageous. Ability to work on-site in Montvale, NJ and manage multiple estimates and deadlines is required.
