L&C ELECTRIC

is growing and we're looking for a Senior Electrical Estimator with strong experience in both commercial and residential projects. We're seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized professional who can manage full estimates, handle permitting processes, and communicate effectively with all project stakeholders. -

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate, detailed estimates , including full material takeoffs and unit pricing. Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to determine scope of work. Use Bluebeam and other digital tools for takeoffs and plan markups. Complete and submit SUBCODE forms and electrical permit applications. Prepare and submit Load Sheets to utility companies (e.g., PSE&G, ConEd). Coordinate with general contractors, engineers, and internal teams for clarifications and scope adjustments. Visit project sites when necessary to verify conditions and validate estimates. -

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical estimating. Strong knowledge of low and medium voltage electrical systems. Proficiency with Bluebeam , Excel, and estimating software. Proven ability to generate detailed material lists and cost breakdowns. Familiarity with permitting processes and utility coordination. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Spanish-speaking is a plus . - Join a growing and dynamic electrical contracting team working across NY and NJ.
