Job Description Job Description Job Description Major New York City Based Waterproofing and façade restoration company is seeking a qualified candidate filling an estimator position with a minimum of 3 to 5 years. Keep an accurate chart of all bids with due dates and walk-thru dates. Contact all contractors and send out RFP's and RFI's. Perform take offs and prepare budget breakdowns using excel. Review projects with assigned project managers. Fill out all bid forms and all other required documents for project bidding. Prepare project schedule and presentation boards. Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements. Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information. Maintains cost data base by entering and backing up data. Use of Microsoft Work, Excel, Blue Beam, & Auto Cad Salary and benefits commensurate with position, (medical & 401K). Please forward salary requirements
