Englewood, OH Job Details Full-time 21 hours ago Qualifications Microsoft Excel Vendor communication Productivity software Full Job Description The Estimator gathers information and pricing details that relate to any given project and simplifies that data into a quote that is beneficial to both the client and the company. The organization of the data and responsibility for said project pricing, within the set parameters and completion of those in a timely manner are aided by performing the following duties: Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates. Assess cost effectiveness of products, materials, projects, or services to decide whether it is more cost-effective to product or purchase components. Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues. Prepare estimates used by management for purposes such as Sales, planning, organizing, and scheduling work. Legibly sketch rough layouts and details as needed. Review product design, related specifications or design changes for compliance, or customer contract requirements. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Knowledge of cabinetry construction a plus, but not required. Knowledge of
AUTO CAD
a plus, but not required. Associate degree, or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of the two. Proficient in Microsoft office products. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence both in email format, and Word/Excel as needed. Ability to speak accurately and effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Must always display professionalism as a representative of the company while engaging with vendors, and all other outside contacts.
