Liberty Center, OH Job Overview Rupp Rosebrock Inc is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Estimator to lead cost estimation and bid preparation across our commercial construction projects. This role is central to our growth, you'll evaluate plans and specifications, build accurate and competitive bids, and work closely with project management and field leadership to set every project up for success. Key Responsibilities Prepare complete, accurate cost estimates for tenant improvement, ground-up commercial, and design-build projects Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from drawings and specifications Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and vendor pricing Analyze bid documents, RFPs, and project scope to identify risks and opportunities Collaborate with project management and executive leadership on final bid pricing and strategy Maintain and build relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors Track historical cost data to improve estimate accuracy over time Assist in transition to and use of digital estimating software (e.g., ConstructConnect, OST, Quick Bid) as part of ongoing process improvement Qualifications Proven experience as an Estimator in commercial construction Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and construction documents Proficiency in Excel required; experience with construction estimating software a plus Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Valid driver's license required Benefits 401(k) with company match Paid time off Health, dental, and vision coverage Company-provided equipment Training opportunities Company Sponsored Team Building Events Work Schedule Full-Time - Monday to Friday Occasional evening hours to meet bid deadlines Work Location Based in Ohio; primarily office-based with occasional site visits
