We have offices located in Bucks County, PA, and New Castle, DE. We are currently looking to hire a Senior Estimator who will be highly skilled and knowledgeable in sheet metal installation. As a key member of the Estimating Department, you will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for mid to large size projects, soliciting vendors and performing takeoffs. The idea candidate should be able to work proficiently within a team environment and possess the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization. Sr.
Estimator's Responsibilities:
Produce a Variety of Estimates Including Conceptual, Design-Build, Design-Assist, and Plan and Spec Value Engineering analysis Constructability Review Provide Support for Project Management Throughout the Performance of the Project (Change Orders, Questions, Scope Issues). Prepare for and Participate in the Turnover Process. Attend Bid Verification or De-scope Meetings. Attend Job Walks and Pre-bid Meetings Produce RFI's. Soliciting Vendors/Subs, Attend Pre-bids, Plan Take-off, Final Pricing, Preparation of Proposals. Sr.
Estimator's Requirements:
Minimum 5 Years Estimating Experience High School/Trade School or College Degree Valid Driver's License Proficient Computer Skills Including Experience with Bluebeam, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Team-Oriented, Customer-Focused, Forward-Thinking, Self-Motivated and Dedicated Strong Multi-Tasking and Organizational Skills. Specific and Strong Knowledge of Sheet Metal General Knowledge of Commercial/Institutional/Industrial Mechanical/Plumbing Systems Previous Field Experience is a Plus Quotesoft Estimating Software Experience is a Plus Sr.
