Cornerstone Bathworks, a Tellis Cornerstone Construction Company, is looking to add an experienced, dependable Tile & Shower Installer / Bathroom Remodel Subcontractor to our subcontractor network for current and upcoming bathroom renovation projects throughout Southern California. We are looking for someone who is highly skilled in shower installation, waterproofing, tile and wall-system preparation , and bathroom remodeling. Plumbing experience is strongly preferred. This is a subcontractor opportunity with the potential for ongoing project assignments for the right person. We value quality workmanship, communication, professionalism, jobsite cleanliness, and contractors who take pride in delivering a finished product correctly the first time.

Typical Scope of Work May Include:

Bathtub-to-walk-in-shower conversions Bathroom and shower demolition Shower pan/base installation and leveling Cement/fiber-cement backer board installation Shower waterproofing Tile installation Grout free shower wall panel systems Shampoo niches, benches and grab bars Minor drywall patching associated with shower installation Shower glass/door installation Plumbing fixture installation Shower valve and trim replacement Shower drain adjustment/connection Other bathroom-remodel related work Experience with shower pans/bases, niches and backer board

Ideal Candidate:

You should have several years of hands-on experience with bathroom and shower remodeling and be able to complete work from plans/scopes with minimal supervision. Candidates who can handle both tile/shower installation AND plumbing-related portions of bathroom remodels will receive preference.

Requirements:

Proven professional tile and shower installation experience Strong knowledge of waterproofing and shower preparation Experience with shower pans/bases, niches and backer board Licensed and insured Appropriate California contractor licensing for the work performed General liability insurance Workers' compensation coverage or valid exemption, as applicable Reliable transportation and tools Ability to provide photos/examples of completed bathroom projects Ability to provide references Professional communication and dependable scheduling Willingness to follow Cornerstone Bathworks jobsite protection and quality-control standards

Strongly Preferred:

Plumbing experience Ability to perform shower valve and drain work Experience with Wetwall or similar grout-free shower wall systems Experience completing full bathroom remodel scopes Ability to handle multiple trades within the shower area

Compensation:

Subcontractor / project-based. Pricing will be agreed upon per project and scope of work.
