Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Floor Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of flooring materials across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces by ensuring precise installation and high-quality finishes. This position offers an engaging opportunity to work with diverse flooring types and building materials, contributing to the creation of beautiful, functional environments. The ideal candidate is energetic, safety-conscious, and possesses a strong foundation in construction techniques and flooring installation. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying primers or adhesives as needed for optimal flooring adhesion Install various flooring materials including vinyl, hardwood, tile, carpet, and laminate with precision and attention to detail Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and secure flooring components according to specifications Handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy materials, caulking seams, trimming edges, and installing fixtures or cabinetry Follow all building installation safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment on construction sites Qualifications Proven experience in flooring installation or related construction fields with knowledge of multiple flooring types including epoxy floors, hardwoods, tiles, vinyl, carpets, and concrete finishing Familiarity with construction estimating processes and building material installation techniques Proficient in using hand tools (e.g., chisels, hammers) and power tools (e.g., saws, drills) safely and effectively Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy materials repeatedly while maintaining safety standards Experience with water damage restoration or floor care is a plus Knowledge of building installation safety compliance regulations and best practices in the construction industry Additional skills such as caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, remodeling experience or handyman skills are advantageous Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional flooring solutions!
