Overview Join our dynamic team as an Entry Level Flooring Installer and kick-start your career in the construction and renovation industry! This exciting role offers hands-on experience in installing a variety of flooring materials, including hardwood, vinyl, vinyl tile, laminate, tile, and carpet. No prior extensive experience is necessary—just a strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and a passion for craftsmanship. You will work alongside skilled professionals to transform spaces and bring clients' visions to life while developing valuable skills in building material installation, safety compliance, and project execution. Duties Assist with the installation of diverse flooring types such as hardwood, vinyl, tile, and carpet under supervision. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to cut, measure, and secure flooring materials according to project specifications. Interpret technical drawings, construction plans, and specifications to ensure precise installation aligned with client expectations. Prepare work areas by removing old flooring, cleaning surfaces, and handling materials with manual handling techniques. Support the installation of related fixtures such as trim carpentry, caulking, cabinetry, and other building components to complete remodeling projects. Follow all safety protocols related to construction site operations, including proper handling of tools and materials to ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications Basic construction experience or familiarity with building material installation is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely while maintaining attention to detail. Strong manual handling skills with the physical capability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods. Good understanding of construction site safety procedures and compliance standards. Willingness to interpret technical drawings and construction plans accurately. Previous handyman experience or involvement in remodeling projects is a plus but not mandatory. Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards learning new skills in flooring installation and related trades. $37,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
