In person — Tempe, Arizona Experienced Automotive Window Tinter Wanted Slix Mobile Detailing is looking for an experienced Automotive Window Tint Installer / Window Tinter who can independently complete professional-quality automotive tint installations. This is not an entry-level training position. You must have at least 2 years of professional automotive window tint installation experience and be able to complete full-vehicle tint installations without supervision. We provide the shop, professional tools, window film, materials, customers, and consistent work. You bring the skill, craftsmanship, reliability, and attention to detail.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Applicants must have: Minimum 2 years of professional automotive window tint installation experience Ability to independently tint complete vehicles from start to finish Experience installing ceramic automotive window film Experience with: Cars Trucks SUVs Luxury vehicles Frameless windows Curved glass Rear windows Full windshields Sunroofs Experience heat shrinking rear glass and windshields Strong glass-preparation and contamination-control skills Ability to hand-cut tint, use a plotter, or both Clean edges and professional-quality installations Ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality Valid driver's license Reliable transportation Strong communication skills Professional appearance and customer-service skills Applicants without professional automotive window tint experience will not be considered.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
As a Slix Automotive Window Tint Installer, you will: Install automotive window film to Slix quality standards Complete full-vehicle tint installations independently Install ceramic window tint Tint side windows, rear windows, windshields, sunroofs, and specialty glass Heat shrink automotive window film Properly prepare and clean glass before installation Perform pre-installation and final quality-control inspections Identify and correct contamination, edge, film, or installation issues Maintain a clean and organized tint workspace Maintain tools, equipment, and film inventory Protect customer vehicles throughout the installation process Explain tint care, curing, warranties, and expectations to customers Identify opportunities to recommend additional Slix services when appropriate Additional Slix services include: Mobile detailing Paint correction Ceramic coatings Paint Protection Film (PPF)

These skills are valuable but not required: Paint Protection Film (PPF) installation Vinyl wrap installation Experience working on luxury, exotic, or performance vehicles Experience with multiple window-film brands Plotter software experience Detailing or paint-correction experience Bilingual English/Spanish Experience training other installers

WHAT WE CONSIDER AN EXPERIENCED TINTER
You should be able to take a customer's vehicle from start to finish without another installer supervising you.
That includes:
Inspecting the vehicle and glass Preparing the work area Cleaning and preparing the glass Cutting or plotting the film Heat shrinking when required Installing the film Finishing edges Inspecting for contamination or defects Correcting issues when necessary Delivering a professional finished vehicle to the customer If you only have experience assisting another installer or tinting side windows, this position is not the right fit.
PAID WORKING INTERVIEW
Final candidates will complete a paid working interview before an employment offer is made.
