You'll mostly be installing frameless and semi-frameless shower enclosures, and you'll also help on our commercial and specialty projects. You should be able to run a shower install from start to finish. For larger enclosures you may have a junior glazier or a second set of hands with you, but you should be fully comfortable installing a single shower door on your own. What You'll Do Install frameless and semi-frameless shower doors, panels, and enclosures, both solo and with a helper Check site conditions and verify that walls, curbs, and openings are plumb and level before installing Set hardware, hinges, clamps, and channels and caulk with a clean, professional finish Help with storefront, glass railing, glass wall, and other enclosure projects as needed Talk with homeowners and general contractors on site: explain the work, answer questions, and represent Gatsby Glass professionally Handle and transport glass safely and leave every job site clean Flag problems early and come up with solutions rather than forcing a fit What We're Looking For Proven experience installing shower glass enclosures. This is required. Ability to complete a single-door shower install independently A careful, detail-focused approach. We'd rather you take the time to do it right the first time than rush and come back later. A positive, professional attitude, and comfort dealing with homeowners and GCs regularly Reliable and punctual, and you communicate when plans change Your own hand and power tools for glass installation [adjust if you supply tools] Valid driver's license and reliable transportation [adjust if needed] Able to lift heavy glass panels safely with a team Storefront, railing, or commercial glazing experience is a plus but not required Room to Grow Gatsby Glass is growing, and we want to grow with the right person. Depending on your experience and how well you fit with the team, this role can become a lead or head of operations position : training junior glaziers, running install crews, and helping us scale as the work increases. Pay:
