Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Experienced Glass and Mirror Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately installing a variety of glass and mirror products in residential, commercial, and remodeling projects. Your expertise will ensure precise measurements, safe handling of glass materials, and flawless installation of windows, doors, fixtures, and custom glass solutions. Responsibilities Measure spaces accurately using dimensional measurements and interpret construction plans and technical drawings to determine installation requirements. Handle glass materials safely, including cutting, fabrication, and assembly of custom glass pieces for various applications. Install windows, mirrors, glass panels, doors, fixtures, and metal stud framing with precision according to specifications. Use hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, fitting, caulking, and securing glass components on construction sites. Perform quality control checks on measurements and installations to ensure safety standards and client expectations are met or exceeded. Assist with remodeling projects by fabricating custom glass solutions and installing fixtures that enhance aesthetic appeal and functionality. Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling materials such as glass materials handling equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience in glass installation, mirror installation, or related construction roles with a strong understanding of construction site procedures. Proficiency in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and understanding construction plans. Skilled in the use of hand tools (e.g., chisels, screwdrivers), power tools (e.g., drills, saws), and measuring devices for precise work. Knowledge of construction estimating processes and experience with fabrication techniques is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while handling large or fragile glass materials during installation processes. Strong background in carpentry or handyman experience is advantageous for versatile project support. Excellent attention to detail for measurement (quality control) and ensuring all installations meet safety standards. Valid experience with metal stud framing, caulking techniques (for sealing), fixture installation, and window or door installation is highly desirable.
