Blinds, Shades, Shutters, & Draperies Overview We're a high-end custom window treatments company in Dallas looking for a part-time installer to join our team 2-3 days per week, with the potential for more hours as we grow. If you are a detail-oriented, people-friendly, problem-solving technician, we'd love to have you join our team.
Schedule:
2-3 days per week to start, flexible scheduling
Pay:

proactive, punctual, and takes ownership without needing to be managed Responsibilities Deliver above-and-beyond customer service before, during, and after every project Prepare for each project by organizing products and tools ahead of time and know the job requirements before you arrive Travel safely and arrive on time
punctuality is a high priority Measure and install with precision as a perfect fit is the standard Create custom solutions for more complex or non-standard installations Stay current on our suppliers' latest blinds, shutters, shades, and drapes, including motorization/hub setup and programming Resolve issues on-site professionally and communicate clearly with customers and our office Keep the job site clean and safe, protect the customer's home and furniture, and leave it better than you found it Haul away old shades and job-site trash Pick up & organize deliveries from our warehouse space Keep your vehicle clean, organized, and stocked with miscellaneous parts and tools Qualifications 2+ years of installation or general carpentry experience; window covering installation experience preferred Strong knowledge of installation methods and products for blinds, shades, shutters, draperies, & outdoor retractable shades Comfortable with technology: using our internal CRM as well as setting up smart hubs and programming motorized shades Proactive, self-starting, and able to work well with both internal team and outside trades/vendors Clean, professional appearance and demeanor Strong verbal and written communication skills Solid time and project management•able to hit deadlines without close supervision Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record Must provide your own reliable truck/vehicle to start•a company vehicle is provided as this role grows into full-time Must pass background check and drug test Able to climb ladders and stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs Benefits Flexible hours Mileage/vehicle reimbursement (details TBD) Monthly bonus tied to Google reviews Path to full-time with company-provided, customized vehicle as hours grow.
