In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing glass products in a variety of settings, including residential, commercial, and remodeling projects. Your expertise will ensure that all glass installations meet quality standards, safety regulations, and client specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that require precision, craftsmanship, and a proactive approach. Responsibilities Measure and interpret construction plans and technical drawings to determine glass specifications and installation requirements Handle and transport glass materials safely using appropriate tools and equipment Install windows, doors, mirrors, glass panels, and fixtures according to manufacturer instructions and project plans Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, assemble, and secure glass components with accuracy Perform dimensional measurements for quality control to ensure proper fit and finish of all installations Apply caulking, trim carpentry, and other finishing techniques to achieve seamless results Collaborate with team members to fabricate custom glass pieces and troubleshoot installation challenges on-site Qualifications Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment for glass installation projects Strong knowledge of glass materials handling, measurement accuracy, and quality control procedures Experience with window installation, door hanging, fixture installation, cabinet installation, and remodeling projects Construction site experience with a focus on safety practices and adherence to building codes Ability to perform dimensional measurements precisely for proper fitment of glass components Familiarity with caulking techniques, trim carpentry, handyman tasks, and general remodeling skills Join us if you're passionate about craftsmanship and eager to contribute your skills to innovative construction projects.
