JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a qualified full and part-time team members.We are hiring for:
Rough-out/machining, assembly, glass installation.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Read and understand work orders and shop drawings to determine product specifications and materials requirements.
- Understand and safely operate hand tools and stationary wood working equipment - saws, joiners, planers, etc.
- Understand and use tape measures and calipers, be able to convert Imperial and Metric.
- Assemble window and door units to assure proper fit, form, and function.
- Measure and verify glass openings per job specifications.
- Recognize and handle hardware components, prepare window and door units for hardware, verify correct fit and function.
- Perform quality checks throughout the process for accuracy, completeness, and compatibility to job specifications and company standards.
- Work safely to prevent on-the-job injuries to self and others by following all safety procedures.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Previous woodworking experience.
- Basic math, problem solving.
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control.
- Communicate effectively and maintain a culture of mutual respect.
- Allow others to provide feedback, implement changes and corrections.
- Ability to work with others on a team.
