JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a qualified full and part-time team members.
We are hiring for:
Rough-out/machining, assembly, glass installation.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Read and understand work orders and shop drawings to determine product specifications and materials requirements.
  • Understand and safely operate hand tools and stationary wood working equipment - saws, joiners, planers, etc.
  • Understand and use tape measures and calipers, be able to convert Imperial and Metric.
  • Assemble window and door units to assure proper fit, form, and function.
  • Measure and verify glass openings per job specifications.
  • Recognize and handle hardware components, prepare window and door units for hardware, verify correct fit and function.
  • Perform quality checks throughout the process for accuracy, completeness, and compatibility to job specifications and company standards.
  • Work safely to prevent on-the-job injuries to self and others by following all safety procedures.
  • Keep work area clean and organized.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Previous woodworking experience.
  • Basic math, problem solving.
  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control.
  • Communicate effectively and maintain a culture of mutual respect.
  • Allow others to provide feedback, implement changes and corrections.
  • Ability to work with others on a team.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift or move 50 lbs.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Includes exposure to noise levels that may be distracting or uncomfortable. Tools/PPE provided. Work is conducted indoors.
