Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic construction team as an Insulation Installer, where you'll play a vital role in enhancing building efficiency and comfort through expert insulation installation. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, interpret technical drawings, and utilize a variety of tools and techniques. Your mechanical knowledge and construction experience will drive successful project completion while adhering to strict safety protocols. Duties Install various types of insulation materials according to blueprint specifications and schematics, ensuring optimal thermal performance. Follow detailed technical drawings and schematics to accurately interpret installation requirements. Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and scaffolding safely to reach work areas at different heights and angles. Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, including power tool safety and ladder use procedures, to ensure a secure work environment. Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients regarding project progress or site-specific needs. Assist in fabricating and customizing insulation components as needed for specific building requirements. Support related construction activities such as caulking, plastering, stucco application, metal stud framing, or masonry work when necessary to ensure project cohesion. Qualifications Proven construction estimating skills and experience with building insulation installation. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools safely. Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately. Experience working on construction sites with familiarity in climbing ladders or scaffolding safely. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations. Knowledge of safety protocols related to power tools, ladder use, scaffolding, and general site safety standards. Construction experience across various trades such as painting, fabrication, concrete finishing, or masonry is a plus.
