We are seeking a skilled, safety-first Experienced Spray Foam Technician to run our rig while spraying foam across Westchester, Putnam and Fairfield Counties . If you take pride in flawless yields, clean job sites, and leading by example, we want to talk.
What You'll Do Detailed Application:
Safely and accurately apply open-cell and closed-cell spray polyurethane foam to attics, roof decks, walls, and crawl spaces.
Rig & Equipment Mastery:
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot mobile spray rigs, proportioners (Graco), transfer pumps, heated hoses, generators, and guns (Fusion/Probler).
Yield & Quality Control:
Monitor temperatures, pressures, foam density, adhesion, and depth to ensure optimal yield and code compliance.
Jobsite Housekeeping:
Manage job site preparation/masking, and ensure OSHA and strict safety/PPE standards are maintained at all times.
Client & PM Communication:
Review work orders and technical drawings, communicate project milestones with field managers, and ensure clean turnover on every site.
What You Bring Proven Experience:
Minimum 1-2+ years of direct experience operating a spray foam rig and gun in residential or commercial settings.
Technical Knowledge:
Deep understanding of substrate preparation, moisture testing, chemical processing temperatures/pressures, and equipment troubleshooting.
Safety Leadership:
Strict adherence to respirator protocols, fresh-air supply systems, ladder safety, and jobsite ventilation.
Physical Capability:
Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces (attics, crawlspaces), and work comfortably at heights.
Clean Record:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (DOT medical card or ability to obtain one is a plus).
