Job Description
Description Headquartered in Montgomery, Alabama, Fastening Solutions (FSI) regionally distributes and markets industrial quality tools and fasteners to industrial manufacturers, lumber yards and contractors. Specifically, FSI focuses on selling wood fasteners consisting of collated nails, staples, screws and tools. Additionally, FSI sells steel, plastic, and woven strapping systems along with various load containment packaging products. FSI also repairs and services pneumatic/battery-operated hand tools and power strapping equipment. The company operates 17 branches across the southeast. FSI currently has a position available for a mobile Outside Service Technician in the Madison, AL area. The ideal candidate must be a self-motivated worker with excellent communication and organizational skills. Responsibilities Repair and maintain pneumatic hand tools at various customer facilities Work independently and in an organized manner Build and maintain a strong relationship with customers Take customer orders Maintain daily reports Keep an accurate inventory of parts Maintain a clean driving record Troubleshoot and repair low voltage machines Delivery of product on a regular schedule Ability to follow directions Daily travel in a company-provided vehicle; overnight travel is very rare Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent Minimum of 2 years of experience in tool repair Mechanically inclined Strong communication skills Valid driver's license and clean driving history Must pass a background and drug screening Benefit Package Employee 401k Retirement Plan with Company Match Company Paid Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability and Long-Term Disability Insurance Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Accident Insurance Flexible Spending Accounts Paid Holidays Paid Time Off (PTO) This company participates in the E-Verify program for employment eligibility of newly hired employees.
