Updated 06/2026 Job Description Job Summary Overview On behalf of our client, we are seeking experienced Aircraft Structures Technicians with a strong background in heavy structural repairs, specifically involving large skin changes and major structural modifications. This role is ideal for technicians who are confident working on complex airframe repairs and can operate with minimal supervision in a fast-paced MRO or production environment. Key Responsibilities Perform heavy structural repairs including large skin removals, replacements, and major component changes Interpret and work from engineering drawings, SRMs, and repair schemes Carry out drilling, riveting, fastening, and fitting of structural components to precise tolerances Execute layout, trimming, and assembly of aircraft structures and substructures Ensure all work is completed in compliance with OEM specifications and regulatory standards Conduct damage assessments and recommend appropriate repair actions Maintain accurate documentation and work records Collaborate with engineering, QA, and production teams to meet project deadlines Requirements Proven experience as an Aircraft Structures Technician, with a focus on heavy structures Demonstrated experience performing large skin changes and major structural repairs Strong ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and engineering drawings Proficient with aircraft structural tools and equipment (drills, rivet guns, countersinks, etc.) Solid understanding of aircraft materials, fasteners, and repair techniques Ability to work both independently and within a team environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety Preferred Qualifications Experience working in an MRO or heavy maintenance environment Type experience on commercial or regional aircraft (e.g., Dash 8, Boeing, Airbus platforms) Transport Canada certification or equivalent (asset) Overview On behalf of our client, we are seeking experienced Aircraft Structures Technicians with a strong background in heavy structural repairs, specifically involving large skin changes and major structural modifications. Pay Rate:
