Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality welding and mechanical fabrication tasks on various metal materials, ensuring all work adheres to safety standards and industry codes. Repairing heavy equipment and hydraulic components, and repairing parts. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your technical expertise to deliver quality and timely repairs. Your hands-on skills will contribute directly to the successful completion of repair initiatives, supporting our commitment to excellence and safety. Needing a individual that is able to perform job duties listed and is willing to learn new skills. Duties Perform welding using various techniques including MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) Measure, cut, and shape sheet metal, pipes, and other metal materials using calipers, micrometers, and other power tools Fabricate metal components through processes such as bending, cutting, drilling, and assembly of fabricated parts Operate rigging equipment for lifting and positioning heavy materials safely on construction sites or within fabrication shops Use measuring instruments like micrometers and calipers to ensure precise dimensions during fabrication and assembly Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols at all times while handling tools, equipment, and materials in construction or shop environments Skills Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of safety procedures and OSHA regulations Skilled in welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, with knowledge of specific welding standards Mechanical knowledge encompassing shop math, basic math skills for measurements and calculations, machining operations, and use of hand tools Familiarity with rigging practices for lifting heavy components safely on construction sites or within fabrication shops Ability to operate measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers accurately for quality control purposes Strong mechanical fabrication skills including assembly of metal structures according to technical specifications Experience working with power tools such as grinders, drills, saws, and gas metal arc welding equipment in a fast-paced environment Join us in delivering top-tier metal fabrication solutions by applying your technical expertise in a vibrant team environment.
