Job Description
Long time and local Water Treatment company is looking for a dedicated individual to become our new Route Driver. The position involves making daily water treatment tank deliveries and swaps to customers, as well as supplies like filters and salt. All work is done out of a small box truck that requires no special license. When not on the road shop work will be required. This includes cleaning and rotating the water treatment tanks, as well as receiving and putting away inventory. This is a fairly physical position and will require routine lifting of metal tanks and bags of media. Safety equipment is always provided. Forklift experience a plus but will train and certify the right candidate. A clean background check and driving history is also a must! If you are looking not to be stuck behind a desk or micro-managed, this position is for you! Every day is a little different and never boring! There is also the ability to progress if you have the desire! Many candidates that start here go on to enroll in the State of Connecticut's Apprentice Training Program to become licensed J2 Water Treatment Technicians. This is a coveted occupation that promises good pay and job security.
