We're partnering with a well-established machine shop in Lakeland, FL that specializes in CNC machining and aluminum, carbon steel, and stainless-steel fabrication. They're seeking motivated and reliable MIG Welders to join their team. In this role, you'll handle a variety of fabrication tasks including welding, burning, coping, and punching. Ideal candidates are those who excel in a fast-paced setting and are eager to contribute within an energetic, innovative work environment. What Makes the Job Great Excellent Company Culture Advancement Opportunities Safety and Attendance Incentives What You'll Be Doing Follows blueprints to ensure produced materials meet product specifications Uses and conducts proper care of Personal Protective Equipment Completes MIG welds on aluminum, carbon and steel materials Performs burning, coping and punching on materials as needed Completes routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety Uses basic hand tools such as measuring tapes, wrenches, screw drivers, wire cutters Conducts tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance Maintains a clean and safe work area at all times Diagnoses issues and troubleshoots as required Completes other job duties as assigned Who We're Looking For Ability to pass 2F and 2G weld tests Must have relevant vocational training Welding certificate preferred but not required Standard PPE including steel toe boots or shoes, welding hoods and gloves Meets expectations for attendance and punctuality Must be motivated and a self-starter Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure Willingness to learn and work overtime when required What You Can Expect $20.00
  • $26.00/hr depending on experience and weld test results Regular schedule of Monday
  • Friday, 7:00am
