Contract Type:

TTH Qualifications Ability to learn and follow all safety policies, guidelines, and procedures. Strong attention to detail when inspecting steel strapping coils. Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to wear required PPE and follow workplace safety requirements. Must provide steel-toed boots. Additional task-specific PPE will be provided onsite. Reliable team player with the ability to assist with production delays and changeovers. Responsibilities Assist with manufacturing steel strapping on the strap line. Remove coils from rewinder reels using coil carriers. Transport coils from the rewinders to the conveyor system. Visually inspect coils for obvious defects or markings that do not meet quality standards. Transfer spools containing slit steel strapping to the welding position. Spot-weld individual straps at the appropriate intervals. Support the team in resolving production delays and completing product size changeovers.
