Yes Summary:
Responsible for performing labor, custodial, grounds keeping, building and mechanical maintenance
Education Requirements and Experience:
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (G.E.D). Six months to one year of general experience.
Additional Qualifications and Skills:
Possess interpersonal skills necessary to foster cooperation and effectively communicate with other employees. Good oral and written communication skills and customer service skills. Ability to pass a background and drug test. Pre-employment drug testing is mandatory for all Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe safety sensitive positions.
Supervisory Duties:
None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Must practice safety precautions and be safety conscious at all times. Performs; custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, polishing floors, windows, window blinds, bathroom cleaning, interior & exterior, walls and siding. Responsible for restocking toilet paper, hand towel, soap dispensers and trash removal. Operates and maintains floor equipment. Participates in off-shift and weekend coverage as needed. Performs general labor task as assigned or as requested by other programs. Transports trash and other debris to appropriate places and containers. Attend and or conduct all mandatory meetings and trainings as required. Maintain confidentiality and professional ethics at all times. Understanding and sensitivity to Native American culture. Adhere to policies governing staff conduct.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, carry and move up to 75 lbs. Be physically capable of performing assigned tasks. Sedentary work. Subject to internal working conditions. Non-smoking environment.
Compensation:
$15.00
Additional Details :
Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm
