Job Description
The Structural Welder is responsible for field welding and assembly of pre-engineered metal building systems, primarily Butler® buildings.

This role involves performing structural welding, fit-up, and installation of steel components on active construction sites in accordance with engineered drawings, safety standards, and project schedules. The ideal candidate has strong field welding experience, understands PEMB systems, and can work safely at heights and in varying weather conditions.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in field welding structural steel. + Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and welding symbols. + Experience working at heights using lifts, scaffolding, and fall protection systems. + Strong understanding of jobsite safety practices. + Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. + AWS welding certifications (D1.1 Structural Steel or equivalent).

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Prior experience erecting Butler or similar PEMB systems. + OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification. + Experience with bolt-up steel erection and rigging. + Forklift, boom lift, or scissor lift operation experience. + Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to regional job sites.
