Job Description:

This position is for a structural and miscellaneous steel shop in need of a skilled erectors for installations. The job entails work ranging from upfits to free standing buildings. We erect/install the steel that we build in our shop which may include stairs, handrails, mezzanines, etc... Only experienced applicants should apply. Must not be afraid of heights. Pay depends on experience.

• Requirements are as follows:
• Minimum of 5 years of previous Steel Erection/installation experience required
• Previous misc steel stair/handrail fabrication experience preferred
• Skilled mig or stick welder required
• Clean driving record required (no DUI or DWI)
• Reliable transportation required
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Must be able to effectively and efficiently lead a team
• Must be able to stand for extended periods
• Must be able to work on ladders when required
• Must be able to accurately read tape measures
• Background check required before hire
• Job located in Bessemer City, NC (outisde of Gastonia, NC)

$27.00 - $31.00 per hour
